Ian Wright and Alan Shearer appear as pundits on the Premier League’s coverage of Fulham vs Arsenal

Football legends Ian Wright and Alan Shearer will make an appearance as pundits on the Premier League's coverage of Fulham vs Arsenal.

The match, which takes place at Craven Cottage on Sunday 14 June, will be the first time the two have been seen together on-screen since Shearer's retirement from professional football in 2006.

Both Wright and Shearer enjoyed hugely successful playing careers in the Premier League, with Wright playing for Arsenal and Shearer for Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United.

The two will join a host of other footballing greats, including Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville, and Graeme Souness, who will provide expert analysis and insight into the game for Sky Sports.

Wright, who played for Arsenal from 1991 to 1998, is fondly remembered for his goalscoring exploits, netting 185 goals in 288 appearances. Shearer, meanwhile, is the Premier League's all-time record goalscorer, with 260 goals in 441 games.

Both Wright and Shearer are well-known for their knowledge and passion for the game, and having them on-screen together will be a treat for football fans.

The two were also part of the England national team, appearing together in the 1998 World Cup in France.
