Erik ten Hag has been tasked with a huge summer transfer clearout at Manchester United, and an ex-Red Devil has named the 10 players that need to be sold.
The Dutch manager, who took charge of the Old Trafford club earlier this month, is set to make some major changes as he looks to turn United into title challengers once again.
And former United ace Dion Dublin has named the 10 players who should be sold this summer, including £85million buy Antony.
Speaking to the Sun, Dublin said: “There’s a lot of deadwood at the club and Erik ten Hag needs to get rid of them.
“He needs to start by selling Antony. He just hasn’t been good enough and the fee United paid for him was too high.
“Then there’s Phil Jones, Andreas Pereira, Marcos Rojo, Jesse Lingard, Diogo Dalot, Juan Mata, Fred, Mason Greenwood, and Nemanja Matic.
“They’re all players who just haven’t been up to scratch at United and Ten Hag needs to get rid of them if he wants to bring in the right players.”
Ten Hag has already started to build his squad, and signed Brazilian midfielder Facundo Pellistri on a five-year deal earlier this week.
And with the transfer window open until October, it remains to be seen who else Ten Hag will bring in to the club as he looks to get United back to the top.
