Today marks a crucial clash in the Premier League as Chelsea take on Aston Villa in a bid to bounce back from their disappointing draw with Everton last weekend.

The Blues were left frustrated after their 1-1 draw with the Toffees, and manager Frank Lampard will be eager to get back to winning ways as they face a tough test against Dean Smith’s side.

Aston Villa have been in superb form this season and currently sit ninth in the league, just one point behind Chelsea.

Chelsea have been inconsistent in recent weeks, with their last win coming nearly a month ago against Crystal Palace.

The match kicks off at 8.15pm tonight at Stamford Bridge and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League.

The Blues will be without defender Thiago Silva and winger Hakim Ziyech for the game, with both players out with hamstring injuries.
