Paris Olympics organizers looking for 45,000 volunteers

The Paris Olympics organizers are looking for 45,000 volunteers to help with the upcoming sporting event.

Organizers of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris announced on Tuesday that they are looking for volunteers to help with the planning and execution of the event. The search for volunteers is expected to start in mid-2021 and run until the end of 2022.

The volunteers will be required to fulfill a variety of roles, including the coordination of athletes, media, and VIPs; providing hospitality services; and helping with communications and information technology.

Organizers said they are looking for people who have an “enthusiasm for sport and the Olympic spirit,” and “a commitment to excellence and the team spirit of collaboration.”

Organizers have also said that they are looking for volunteers who are “proactive and able to take initiative,” as well as those who have “a great sense of responsibility and commitment.”

Organizers said they will provide support to volunteers, including language classes, travel costs and accommodation. They also said that volunteers will have the opportunity to attend some of the Olympic events as spectators.

The search for volunteers is part of the overall preparations for the 2024 Summer Olympics, which will take place from 26th July to 11th August. This will be the third time that Paris has hosted the Olympic Games, having first done so in 1900 and again in 1924.

Organizers said that the volunteers will be a crucial part of the success of the Olympic Games, and that their efforts will be “valued, respected and remembered.”
