“You” Star Victoria Pedretti Called Out A “Well Known” Male Actor Who Made Inappropriate Sexual Comments About Her Body On Her Birthday Last Year
Victoria Pedretti, star of the hit Netflix series “You,” has called out a “well-known” male actor who made inappropriate sexual comments about her body on her birthday last year.
Pedretti, who plays the role of Love Quinn on the show, revealed the incident on her Instagram page recently, pointing out the importance of speaking out against sexual harassment.
“On my birthday last year, a well-known actor made inappropriate sexual comments about my body,” Pedretti wrote. “I'm sure there are many of us who have been in this kind of situation. It takes a lot of courage to speak out, but it's so important that people know there are consequences for this kind of behavior.”
The actress went on to say that the actor was reprimanded for his inappropriate comments, but she wanted to make it clear that “this kind of behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.”
“I stand with all survivors of sexual harassment and assault and will continue to fight for a safe and respectful work environment for everyone,” she said.
Pedretti's comments come at a time when the #MeToo movement has been gaining traction in Hollywood. In the past few months, numerous actors and actresses have spoken out against harassment and assault in the entertainment industry.
By speaking out, Pedretti is sending a message that no one should ever have to experience sexual harassment, regardless of their profession. Her words are a reminder that people should not have to tolerate such behavior, and that it’s important to take a stand against it.
