Millie Mackintosh has opened up about the struggles she faced after becoming a mum, admitting that she experienced a “loss of identity”.
The former Made in Chelsea star welcomed her first child with husband Hugo Taylor, daughter Sienna, in May 2020.
And in an honest interview with The Sunday Times, Millie has revealed the impact motherhood has had on her life and how she has embraced sober living.
The 30-year-old said: “I felt a loss of identity after becoming a mum and I needed to find a way to still be me.”
Millie has since taken up yoga, running and cycling as part of her new healthier lifestyle.
Mackintosh also revealed that she has embraced a more mindful and sober lifestyle since becoming a parent, saying “I used to be a party girl, but I don’t like the feeling of not being in control.”
The star has been documenting her fitness journey on her Instagram page, motivating her followers to stay on track with their fitness goals.
Millie also revealed that she is focusing on her mental well-being, saying “I want to be the best version of myself for my daughter.”
