Maralee Nichols, the mother of former NBA star Lamar Odom, has been accused of ‘shading' Khloe Kardashian after she threw her daughter, True, a lavish party.

The accusations come after Maralee threw True a lavish birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday, complete with a cake, a carousel, and a custom-made ice cream truck.

The party was attended by a number of celebrities and included a performance by singer Chris Brown.

The accusations of ‘shading' Khloe Kardashian began to surface online when some fans noticed that Maralee had not included the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star in the party's guest list.

Khloe, who is True's aunt, was noticeably absent from the celebration.

The accusation of ‘shading' has been further compounded by the fact that Maralee shared a post on Instagram, following the party, that seemed to be directed at Khloe, with the caption “No one is greater than any other”.

The post, which has since been deleted, was widely interpreted as a message to Khloe, who some fans believe was excluded from the party because of the ongoing feud between the Kardashian and Odom families.

Khloe has yet to comment on the situation, but Maralee has denied any ill will towards the reality star, explaining that the post was actually a message to her children.

It remains to be seen if the two families will be able to patch up their differences, but for now, it seems Maralee is being accused of ‘shading' Khloe Kardashian.
