Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, one of the most recognisable faces in reality television, has confirmed his appearance on the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The veteran TV presenter, who has enjoyed a lengthy career in the entertainment industry, is looking forward to the challenge of living in the jungle and competing in difficult tasks.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Dicko said: “I’m really looking forward to being part of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! It’s a great show that I’ve watched for years and I’m excited to be part of the team.”
Dicko began his career in the late 1980s, presenting music shows such as The Big Gig, before carving out a successful career as a judge on talent shows including Australian Idol and The X Factor.
The TV star is looking forward to testing his limits on I’m A Celebrity, and believes that the show will give him a unique opportunity to reflect on his career.
He said: “I’m going to embrace the experience and use it as an opportunity to reflect on my career and the path I’ve taken. It’s going to be an amazing journey and I can’t wait to get started.”
Dicko is the latest celebrity to be confirmed for the show and joins a number of household names who are set to be part of the 2020 series.
