Helen Flanagan shares thoughtful birthday message to Scott Sinclair after their ‘split’ in October

Helen Flanagan has sent a thoughtful birthday message to her ex-boyfriend, footballer Scott Sinclair, despite their split in October.

The actress took to Instagram to share a sweet post for the 31-year-old, who celebrated his birthday on Tuesday.

The former Coronation Street star shared a picture of the pair, which was taken during their happier times, with the caption: “Happy birthday @scotty__sinclair. #family.”

The couple, who have a two-year-old daughter together, began dating in 2009, shortly after Scott joined Manchester City.

They enjoyed a five-year romance before they decided to go their separate ways in 2014.

But, despite their break-up, Helen and Scott have remained close friends and have been co-parenting their daughter together.

In October, Helen and Scott finally decided to call it quits and the model shared a heartfelt Instagram post, wishing her former flame luck.

She wrote: “We had the most amazing time together, so many special memories. I wish him all the happiness in the world. I’m so grateful for the beautiful two-year-old daughter we share.”

The couple's split came after reports that the former Manchester City player had grown close to his ex-girlfriend, Stephanie Heaney, who he split from in 2017.

Despite the rumours, it appears that Helen and Scott remain on good terms and the actress' birthday wish proves that the couple are still in each other's lives.
