Hayden Panettiere, Hoping to Leave Her Struggles Behind, Is Back Onscreen
After a tumultuous few years, Hayden Panettiere is ready to reemerge onscreen. The actress is set to star in the sixth installment of the horror franchise “Scream”, which is set to begin filming later this month.
Panettiere is best known for her role as cheerleader Claire Bennet on the hit sci-fi series “Heroes”. She also starred in the films “I Love You, Beth Cooper” and “Scream 4”. On both the big and small screen, Panettiere has been praised for her strong acting range and powerful presence.
In recent years, Panettiere has been in the headlines for personal and professional struggles. In 2017, she revealed that she was seeking treatment for postpartum depression, and in 2019 she was the subject of a domestic violence investigation.
Now, Panettiere is hoping to turn the page and start a new chapter in her career. She will play a high school student in “Scream 6”, which is set to be released in 2024.
“I’m so excited to be back in the spotlight and for people to see the new side of me,” Panettiere said in a statement. “I’m ready to embrace this opportunity and to use my platform to be a role model for others.”
Panettiere is also set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series “The Haunting of Bly Manor”. It’s clear that she’s ready to put her struggles behind her and make a triumphant return to the big and small screens.
