Billie Piper transforms into BBC producer Sam McAllister on the set of Netflix film Scoop
British actress Billie Piper has been spotted on the set of her upcoming Netflix film ‘Scoop' looking unrecognizable as she takes on the role of BBC producer Sam McAllister.
The 36-year-old star, who is best known for her role as Rose Tyler in Doctor Who, was seen wearing a grey blazer, pink shirt, and grey skirt as she filmed scenes on location in London.
The film is set in the world of investigative journalism and follows the story of two young reporters who discover a story of global proportions. Billie will play the role of Sam McAllister, an experienced producer at the BBC who mentors the two reporters.
The film also stars Martin Freeman, Matthew Macfadyen, and Alison Steadman. Speaking about the film, Billie said: “It's been great to work on a project that focuses on a very important issue. I'm looking forward to playing the role of Sam McAllister and being part of a great cast and crew.”
The film is directed by David Kerr and is due to be released later this year. Billie has had a long and successful career in both the film and television industry and has recently finished filming another Netflix project, ‘I Hate Suzie', which is set to air later this year.
It's clear that Billie Piper is a talented actress and we can't wait to see her transformation into the character of Sam McAllister in the upcoming Netflix film ‘Scoop'.
