Troubled Jackass star Bam Margera ARRESTED for public intoxication after altercation at restaurant
Troubled Jackass star Bam Margera has been arrested for public intoxication after an altercation at a restaurant.
The 39 year old was taken into custody on Sunday night after police were called to a restaurant in the city of Glendale, California. Margera was reportedly intoxicated and had been involved in an altercation with other patrons.
The incident began when Margera allegedly started yelling and cursing at the restaurant staff. He was asked to leave the premises but refused to do so. Police were then called to the scene and Margera was taken into custody.
Margera is best known for his appearances in the MTV series Jackass, which ran from 2000 to 2002. Since then, he has gone on to appear in several other television shows and films, as well as to produce his own projects such as Viva La Bam.
However, in recent years Margera has struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues. He has been in and out of rehab several times and has documented his struggles on his social media accounts.
Margera's arrest is the latest incident in a string of legal troubles for the Jackass star. He was arrested in February of this year for trespassing at a hotel in Los Angeles, and in 2018 he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.
It is not yet known what will come of Margera's latest arrest, but it is sure to be just another chapter in the troubled star's life.
