American Idol: Katy Perry and Lionel Richie were brought to TEARS by Fire’s performance

Last night, viewers of American Idol were moved to tears by contestant Fire’s performance. Fire, a 16-year-old singer from New York City, sang an emotional rendition of “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus.

The performance was so moving that judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie were both brought to tears. Perry was the first of the two to be overcome with emotion, wiping away tears as she praised Fire for her incredible talent.

The audience was also moved by Fire’s performance, giving her a standing ovation and cheering her on. After the performance was over, Fire thanked the judges for their kind words and support.
