It's been 11 years since Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria announced their engagement and the couple continues to show their everlasting commitment to each other.

The couple, who share five children together, celebrated the milestone on social media, with Alec taking to Instagram on Friday to share a sweet video and message.

“11 years ago, I asked this amazing woman to marry me… and she said yes. Happy anniversary, @hilariabaldwin,” Alec, 62, wrote.

In the video, Alec and Hilaria, 36, can be seen embracing as a voiceover reads: “Love is patient and kind. Love never fails. Love always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. This is love.”

The heartfelt message was accompanied by a series of photos of the couple throughout their 11-year marriage.

The couple, who married in 2012, announced their engagement in June 2009.

Following the announcement, Hilaria said in a statement: “Alec and I are very happy to announce our engagement. We both feel fortunate to have found the perfect partner and are looking forward to a wonderful future together.”

Since then, the couple has been through many highs and lows, including the birth of their five children, a miscarriage, and Alec's controversial departure from NBC's '30 Rock' in 2013.

Despite the challenges, Alec and Hilaria have remained committed to their relationship and continue to be an example of true love and dedication.
